Let’s put sandbags up every year rather than building a wall once
It’s Spring in Davenport Iowa, and with Spring comes the flooding of the Mississippi River. As I understand it, the river floods to some extent every year. Every year businesses are threatened by the rising water. In some years residents have been evacuated. What response do the politicians in the area and business owners have each year? Put up more sandbags! Idiots.

Finally on two wheels again
I’m finally able to ride again. My parents brought my bike down from Michigan a few weeks ago. My God it feels good to be on the road and not in a car. I also have a new helmet coming (Friday, probably) that should be a nice addition to my gear, provided that it fits the way it should.

Changes
Wondering where the other posts went? No, you aren’t. Because no one reads this site.
I just deleted a bunch of old posts to clean the place up. I’m in a posting kind of mood again, and I’d like to start on the fresh side. Also, I will probably want to use this as a platform for template modifications on another project I’ve got, so getting rid of less than professional posts is a must.
